GREAT's fleet of canoes and kayaks will be available for the public to paddle in the park lagoons.

September 15, Saturday
Annual River Clean-up, 10:00 AM-2:00 PM
The location has been changed to the Grand River. Report to the Amphitheater on the Grand River, by the CMS Energy building. Parking available in CMS Energy Parking garage located off Cooper St (formerly Airline Dr.)

Paddle Outings:
Meet at Put-in locations at noon on Sunday. At the put-in, we create car pools for take-out placements. If needed, Call 517 416-4234 to reserve a GREAT canoe/kayak. There will no charges for trip insurance this year! Outings cancelled due to weather will be posted on the home page and a phone message (call 517 416-4234). Waivers must be signed and given to trip leader at put-in: Adult Form; if under18 yrs., Minor Form (also available at put-in)

Put-in: Horton Millpond, Jackson County Park in village of Horton. Take out: same. Paddle upstream to Reynolds Rd. Bridge,then back downstream to Horton Millpond

Put-in: Tompkins Rd. bridge, DNR public access site N. of village of Tompkins.Take out: Baldwin County Park at Onondaga. Picnic at park. Food for cookout provided by GREAT.

11:00 am (Meet at Jackson Crossing
near Shell Station)
Huron River, Washtenaw County
Put-in ,12:00 Noon at Hudson Mills Metro park (Washtenaw County). Picnic lunch will be provided. Take-out: Dexter-Huron Metro park. Optional Take out at Delhi Metro Park. All drivers will need to purchase a $4 Metro park day pass.
